cannot get rid of master password window log in
Hi, I signed for a master password in Firefox. When the window appears to ask me to insert it, I do but it doesn't work. Then I try to reset it with this link: chrome://pippki/content/resetpassword.xul into but it doesn't work either as nothing appears after hitting enter. I want to get rid of this annoying pop up window as I'm sure I'm entering the right password but it's always denied. Thank you very much!

Hi, I created a new profile but again, if I go t create a master password, you will see in the attachment that the window is still asking me for the previous one, so I cannot start from scratch. What can I do to get rid of this! Very frustrating for such a simple feature. Thanks!

You did use the Profile Manager to create a new profile and not used the refresh feature in Firefox?
With the latter the key file might be copied to the new profile.
Does "Use a master password" has a checkmark?
