So what is it showing? Your location is based on your ISP assuming no Proxy or VPN is being used.

Websites can do a reverse DNS lookup to get your location.

They do not need to use Geo Location even when this gives more precision. If the website wants to use GL then Firefox will ask for permission and can store this as an exception that you can inspect in "Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> Permissions: Location".

This DNS look up is not always precise as this relies on the location of the gateway that connects you to your ISP.
