So, I tried this multiple times before coming here because it doesn't make sense to me. I just downloaded Firefox and started migrating (used chrome before but left because of privacy concerns). But as I was opening some tabs to try Firefox out I noticed the pages either opened in half, opened super slowly or straight up gave me an error (speedtest.net said my proxy or firewall was blocking port 8080, I added it to the exceptions in windows firewall but it made no difference). The weird thing is, when Firefox is open, chrome doesn't work properly either. The internet stops working in my phone too! But when I kill the process everything goes back to normal. Can someone help me?

Try safe mode, does the same problem occur? Firefox shouldn't affect your internet. Do you have Firefox set up normally to access the internet?

Yes, I tried safe mode, made no difference. I didn't change anything in the Firefox setup and I see the Firefox's rules in the firewall.

I am on Windows 10, no proxy, nothing out of the ordinary as far as I know.

Ok then this sounds like a software corrupted issue. Because in safe mode it should only load the bare needed to run and if there are problem encountered in running Safe Mode then the Brower software has issues. What kinda Firewall and A/V do you have installed?
