In what version was the SharedArrayBuffer implemented as I'm concerned about Meltdown. I'm still running 51.0.1

Trying to determine how vulnerable I am to Meltdown. Using MacBook Air with 10.13.2. Is the fact that I'm running an older version of FF (51.0.1) actually helpful?

You can check whether SharedArrayBuffer is enabled in your Firefox, and disable it if you like, this way:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful or accepting the risk.

(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste shared and pause while the list is filtered

(3) If the javascript.options.shared_memory preference is true, double-click it to flip the value to false
