I ue Firevox as my default browser and it hurts my feelings when a "Help" site from Echo360.org won't open ( but it works in Chrome)- http://help.echo360.org/Admin_Guide/Admin_MainTopic.htm

Also, in Instructure Canvas learning management system, when a user tries to create a media piece in the text editor in a discussion (and elsewhere in the lms), it won't work, but they are told to use Chrome, or, to close a Chrome window.

Why is this? Thanks! HLS

https://superuser.com/questions/517160/why-does-firefox-use-the-chrome-protocol-schema-in-urls The phrase chrome has been used by Mozilla since long before Google Chrome came on the market. Typically the phrase "Chrome" referred to all the area around your viewport, but not the viewport itself. Sort of like the chrome plating some cars have around their windscreens or headlights.

Hope that answers that question. Might find the links in the above url might be useful or the site might be.

Not having any issues with the url's you supplied myself. Can you expand on the issue you are having with them please.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
