Firefox will never support ActiveX.

Bonjour, Comment faisons-nous lorsqu'il est impératif de se servir d'activex sur le logiciel IPPC de la caméra pour qu'elle fonctionne? Doit'on retourner sur IE? Merci de votre réponse. Cordialement

How do we do when it is imperative to use activex on the IPPC software of the camera to work? Should I go back to IE? Thank you for your reply. cordially

Use whatever works, even if resorting to IE is necessary.

Mozilla Firefox has never supported ActiveX, although back in the early days there was an ActiveX Plugin available - but that project died like 11 or 12 years ago. Ancient history in computer software life spans.

ActiveX was a Microsoft proprietary thing that only worked in IE. The Edge browser on Win10 does not support it.

The ActiveX plugin back during the days of Firefox 1.5 and earlier only added partial ActiveX support and has been added to blocklist since June 7, 2012.

Hi grin_grin, you can use different browsers for different purposes. It's not "all or nothing"!
