Hello, I uploaded two new videos in youtube about a week ago. With Mozilla, I cannot see these videos with HD quality. The maximum quality is 360p, while with Chrome I can see them in Full HD quality, with Explorer as well at good quality. I contacted the youtube team and they also proved to me that my videos have all the quality options but...it doesn't work with Mozilla. I uninstalled Mozilla and reinstalled and there is no improvement. The quality of my videos is still the lowerst when using Mozilla as a Browser. I have to use other Browsers in order to watch them.

Can you help me?

Regards,

Marius Herea

Hi Marius, this only affects the latest two videos, your earlier video uploads can all be viewed in HD in Firefox?

Could you visit YouTube's test page and check that you have at least 5 blue boxes?

https://www.youtube.com/html5

If some boxes are red (other than the last one), which ones are they?

Hi jscher2000,

The two red boxes are: H.264 and MSE&H.264

Yes, it only affects my last two videos. All the others can be seen in HD quality with Mozilla.

are you using a windows N version? if so you'll need to install the media feature pack to be able to play mp4 content in firefox (youtube uses that format to encode content with higher resolution): Fix video and audio problems on Firefox for Windows N editions
