Problem with Sync and Firefox Profiles

recently I used the Profiles feature of Firefox where you can use multiple profiles on one PC. I also set up Firefox Sync on the new profile, so my form data etc. is available there. However, I deactivated syncing of addons and settings. When I switched between the two profiles, suddenly addons from the second one were installed to the first. Also the second one now had the Sync settings of my first profile, where everything is synced. I reverted everything to the settings it was before. I thought maybe using the same device name was causing this and changed it for the second profile.
Today again an addon from the second profile was installed on my first profile. Is this a bug?
I hope this can get fixed soon.

Did you change the addon setting before you attached the new profile or after, because it could have waited to sync up, and they it will sync down the profile first when you attach a new profile. I am thinking that its the order of which things were set up that is synced down the add ons, or that the default setting is changed when you first attache a new device. I would have to test to find out. What is the exact order of when you changed the add on setting, before or after the new profile was attached?

I think that I first attached the profile to sync. After that I deselected sync for addons and settings on that profile.
After that after a while the addon was installed on my main profile. Also the sync settings on my new profile were changed to sync addons and settings now. So it synced settings from my main profile as well, I guess?
