Have tried refresh, cleared cache, downloads, everything I could think of in your support pages and still very slow to change webpages. Just recently upgraded to 43....Can I just completely uninstall firefox and try to reinstall...I know I have to export my bookmarks, etc. Didn't have this problem before upgrading??? something not right going on? Help Thanks

Hello there,

Indeed you can try to reinstall Firefox and see if that solves the issue.

Follow the steps attached in the link below and your bookmarks will appear fine even when reinstalling Firefox.

Hope this helps!

It is possible that your firewall or other security software blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to install for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

See:

Try to start Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down the Shift (Mac: Options) key to see if that helps.
