after migration to Windows 10, I need log into each website every time I visit

more options

Upgraded to Windows 10 from 7 a couple days ago.

Now, I must login to websites each time I visit whereas in the past I would be automatically logged in with stored username/password. I have checked cookies settings and other security settings and don't see what should be changed. Everything looks to be as it was before (from what I remember).

Would appreciate any help--it's probably something very simple but I can't figure it out.

Thanks.

被選擇的解決方法

Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.

  • Create an Allow cookie exception to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions

In case you are using "Clear history when Firefox closes":

  • do not clear the Cookies
  • do not clear the Site Preferences

Note that clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.

Clearing cookies will remove all specified (selected) cookies including cookies with an allow exception.
