A blue screen can't be caused by Firefox, however there are many other programs on your computer that can cause it (graphics driver, firewall, etc.) I'd suggest googling the error code and looking for what it could be, or contacting a trusted, local computer repair store (alternatively, contact your computer manufacturer. If it's new it should be under warranty and a blue screen could be a sign of failing hardware)

You also might check for updates to your graphics driver software. Although you would think a new system would be up-to-date, often they are built with disk images that are 6-12 months old and the burden falls to you to update them.
