I CAN NOT GET BOOKMARKS TO WORK AND FIREFOX KEEPS BLOCKING PAGES WITH ALL SETTINGS FOR BLOCK-UP'S UNCHECKED. I HAVE UNINSTALLED IT 3 TIMES. TWICE WITH CONTROL P
I HAVE UNINSTALLED IT 3 TIMES, 2 TIMES WITH CONTROL PANEL AND 1 TIME WITH REVO PRO. I GO TO HOME PAGE EACH TIME FOR NEW DOWNLOAD. RUNNING WINDOWS 7 AND WINDOWS DEFENDER. THIS IS FIRST TIME I HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM. I CLICK THE STAR, I CLICK THE BOOKMARKS AT FOLDER TOP AND I CLICK CTRL + D. NOTHING WORKS. PLEASE ADVISE. THANK YOU, RIVERMAN45

Did you download Firefox from Mozilla.org ? Are there any other issues / problems?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode;
Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.
Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.
