ANSI graphics would be a great addition to Firefox. Any chance?
On the news comment sites more and more people are posting ASCII graphics. Primitive, no color, etc. Though old tech, ANSI graphics would seem to me to be a fairly easy addition to make to Firefox? And there is a mountain of existing artwork out there (I ran a successful BBS for 12 years). What think? ANY chance??

This used to work I believe but was deprecated it seems a while ago: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/d.../nsILocalFile#openANSIFileDesc
It never hurts to file a bug with a feature proposal. Try bugzilla.mozilla.org with some more details how this would be incorporated. However I would not have an ETA about the feature off hand.
