When I hit the Bookmarks tab, not all my bookmarks are shown.
I've noticed recently that when I hit the Bookmarks tab at the top of the screen, Mozilla will only show the top 5-10 bookmarks. The amount of Bookmarks on any particular time it shows appears to be random. Then another time it will show all of the bookmarks. Any advice would be appreciated. Of course I have the latest version of Firefox.

Are the bookmarks that are appearing randomly in the Bookmarks Menu, Bookmarks Toolbar or in Unsorted Bookmarks when you press Command + B ?
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

To guig2, thank you for your reply, but the bookmarks are not appearing randomly. It is simply the first 5-10 bookmarks only that appear in order when I open Bookmarks. And as I said this happens intermittently.
