Since updating to the latest Firefox, internet pdf files are blank; hardware accelerator was already unchecked; other browser does not have this problem.
have updated both firefox and foxit to their latest versions. since then cannot open internet pdf files. hardware accelerator in firefox was already unchecked. another browser does not have this problem.

Can you open the url "about:config" and search for "pdfjs.disabled"? Set the latter to true and try again to open your pdf file.
done as recommended.
but though url now shows pdf address ( before url was about blank) I still cannot open internet web file.
