Firefox has turned into a blackhole and is COMPLETELY unresponsive. I can't restart my computer and force quit doesn't do anything. Please Help

Yeah, "blackhole" as a search term doesn't return any results for me either.

All the articles pose solutions that require you to perform an action within Firefox; which isn't very helpful, given that my Firefox window is a black rectangle with a white box in the middle.
It might also be helpful to know that this "blackhole" occurred when I was about to view a YouTube video..
Any other suggestions?
