Somehow my husband's internet searches are showing up on my WORK computer, which he has never touched. What kind of corruption do I check for on both computers?

I work in a community college library in the back office. I am using a computer with the corporate version of Windows 7. On MY home computer I have Windows 8 and my Husband has a computer that has either Wndows 7 or Windows 8. Mozilla Firefox is installed on all three. My husband has never used my computer at work, but this morning I found items that he had searched that came up on my WORK computer. I am having trouble with my bookmarks having disappeared on my WORK computer and IT had me completely uninstall Mozilla Firefox yesterday. I reinstalled the newest version of Mozilla Firefox today. I still do not have any bookmarks, even after saving new ones and now I find information that my husband searched on his computer at home showing on my work computer. How can that happen and what needs to be done to fix whatever corruption seems to be going on?

And another thing, are you using Google+ and use Google for doing web searches?
