Firefox now lets you search the web using images instead of text, with Google Lens. This makes it easy to identify objects, translate text, or find visually similar results directly from an image.

This feature is gradually rolling out, so it may not reach everyone at the same time.

What you can do with Google Lens in Firefox

Once you search with an image using Google Lens, you can:

  • Select specific parts of the image to search
  • Identify objects or products
  • Translate text in the image
  • Copy or highlight text
  • Run a search using selected text

It's like using Google Lens on your phone, but it is built into Firefox on your computer. googlelens4
