Except where noted, everything here applies only to Firefox 145 and the Firefox 140.5 ESR. Firefox 140 is the current ESR so, going forward, no enterprise changes will be backported to Firefox 128 ESR.

Firefox Support for Organizations

Bug Fixes

• The Chatbot option in the GenerativeAI policy did not turn off the Generative AI on the page context menu. This was fixed in bug 1994791.

Policies

• The GenerativeAI policy has been updated with an option to enable or disable all GenerativeAI features.
• The EnableTrackingProtection policy has been updated so that BaselineExceptions and ConvenienceExceptions can be set when in strict mode. This does not apply to the ESR.

We are extending Firefox 115 ESR support for Windows 7/8 and macOS 10.12/10.13/10.14 users until March 2026.
