Do you have a clue? I didn't use the phone at all but data connection (2G) was established. Data traffic is monitored by the system and 10MB was monitored (peak connection). I guess I can't see the corresponding app/service which is resposible for the traffic (just like in Android).

Can you keep data off so this does not occur? What apps do you have open and running? What is the device you have?

Well, I just got the device from the provider and I installed several apps. As far as I know they stay in active just like in Android til I restart the system, right? So basically there are too many apps under suspicion.

My device is the Alcatel One Touch Fire.

Hi asbach,

Thanks, feer56, for your reply also. In my experience, I can use 10mb right away, if I load my email, update my calendar and such. If you downloaded apps over your 2G connection, it is possible that you used 10mb. You can close apps by pressing and holding the Home button, then tapping the X, if that is helpful.
