I need to install version 3.6.26. How?
I uninstalled 3.6.27 because certain pdf links came up blank. How do I find 3.6.26 which works perfectly on my mac G5 - OSX 10.5.8?

I would suggest reinstalling Firefox 3.6.27 from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all-older.html since it is a security update and then figure out why certain PDF links come up blank (do you have an example?) As a workaround, you can try downloading the PDF link instead of opening it, or else change your Application preferences to open PDF links in another application (such as Preview?) if you have it set to open with something else that may be causing the problem.
You should only down-level to Firefox 3.6.26 as a last resort but if you want to give it a try see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Go_back_to_an_old_version_of_Firefox
I tried your advice. I waded through pages of technical jargon and managed to download version 2.0.0.20 which works. Nowhere could I find any information on how to download version 3.6.26 which was the most up to date version that my mac OSX 10.5.8 can cope with. Simple click this click that required. The blank pages are pdf downloads from certain sites = puzzles from "killersudokuonline" I would still like to have the more recent version if only I could find and download it!!!
