One day my location bar memory just turned off. I can not find how to turn it back on. I.e. when i start typing in "hot"..... it will come up with "www.hotmail.com" rather than me having to type it all in as it has remembered from my browsing history and bookmarks, but this is now not happening. - i am not sure of the short term for this is called In my preferences my security is set: "remember history for at least '10 days' " and in location bar settings: "when using location bar, suggest 'history and bookmarks' " Doing some other research on the net i found to perhaps to check the "about:config" page and the function "browser.urlbar.maxRichResults" is set to 12 so my awesome bar should be working? I am not sure what else to do or if there are other settings in about:config that i should change!?

If the settings for the location bar are correct then you may have a problem with the file places.sqlite. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Locked_or_damaged_places.sqlite
