The most current Firefox you can run on Windows 7 is Firefox 115.14.0esr as Firefox 116.0 or later requires Windows 10/11 to run. Pretty much every other major web browser has already dropped support of the EOL Windows, 7, 8, 8.1 back in Jan/Feb of 2023.

This thread was about a user on Windows 7 where the OP can only use Firefox 115 ESR at most and currently at Fx 115.17.0esr.
