Hello, I have tried a number of times over the last several years to have Firefox automatically sync my bookmarks from Windows to my iPad and my iPhone. It never worked; and I surrendered and went to Chrome. I am back to give it another try. Still the automatic does not work. If I force a manual sync on my iphone, for example, the bookmarks added on Windows appear. So far the only "help" that I've seen is to make sure that all devices are signed into the same account. They are. Here is what I have done to date:

  • Made sure that all devices were signed into the same account.
  • Closed and started my accounts multiple times
  • Disconnected and reconnected my accounts several times

All of that was to no avail. Can somebody give me advice beyond telling me to sign all devices into same account? Thanks much! Dave

You can open about:sync-log via the location bar to see if recent Sync logs are available. You can upload the file to a website like Pastesite if you can't post the content of the file in a reply.

You can install the About Sync extension to check what data is stored on the Sync server via the about:sync page provided by this extension.

Close and restart Firefox to access the about:sync page added by this extension (see the about:about page for possible about pages).
