Lost or Mistaken password is out of the hands of Firefox forum to help here. If the reset email doesn't or nor accessed that isn't something Firefox can fix. You need to make a new account. And if this isn't Firefox account that also precludes anything anyone can do here as well.
I'm not sure what went wrong. Can you attach a screenshot of this notice ?
In case of issues, you can try to login to the Firefox Account via this website.
