password recovery
I am trying to install the new version but cannot recall my old password. There doesn't seem to be any way of recovering it. Am I missing something? Thanks

If Thunderbird still has access to the old password you can retrieve it by - clicking settings>privacy&security - click 'saved passwords' and then 'show passwords' - highlight the rows for the account - rightclick and select 'copy password'
