I used to manage two large email groups. Now, I just need to add 12 new contacts to a small existing group. Each time I add one name/address, the screen goes back to square one so to speak. I must be doing something wrong! It shouldn't be this cumbersome. I just want to type in all the new folks and THEN hit okay once.

I may even have asked this question before, but I can't find anything about it in the help.

Thunderbird continues to block emails.

In the junk settings the “enable adaptive junk mail controls for this account” box is unchecked. But still some important emails continue being blocked and they do not appear in the trash folder. Is there another way I can prevent TB from regulating my email? I appreciate any help with this.

I have 3 email accounts that all receive emails just fine. Outgoing mail however only works with one of the accounts. The other two recieve this response from the server: Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Please ensure your email address and authenticating user match when sending messages. Please verify that your email address is correct in your account settings and try again. I have tried every fix on the thread and researched the web to no avail. This just does not make sense as this problem just materialized out of thin air. What is going wrong?

I've recently had to abandon my POP account and subsequently my ISP, who has stopped supporting email clients other than their own. I wanted to keep using Thunderbird and while I accept POP is gone, I wanted to maintain access to my old, downloaded emails as they form a useful database of information. I've done this by disabling the server connections of the old POP accounts but leaving accounts themselves in Thunderbird and adding my new web-based account (Protonmail) to download current emails into Thunderbird. All this has been accomplished successfully and works well.

It did take a wee bit of work to get all this 'successful and working well' and during the process Thunderbird has somehow managed to duplicate several folders that can not be deleted. They are all empty except for the ones with the > beside them and those contain the expected material that should be there (so are the ones I want to keep.) Any way of getting rid of all these duplications, especially in Local Folders? They don't seem to be hurting anything but I find them annoying.

I'm on a Mac desktop with Ventura 13.3.1

In Thunderbird, my messages are displaying incorrect dates in both the date and received date columns. The dates for all messages including new messages list the year 2002. The email headers however are displaying the correct dates. The time and date are also correctly set on my Mac. Thanks for any help.

I started having problems with newsgroups sometime after updating to TB version 102. I'm not really sure exactly when.

I started noticing that when I check for new messages, only about 1/2 of them are getting downloaded.

This even happens for messages from the same poster. I may get some of their messages downloaded and some not downloaded.

This happens from 3 different news servers, eternal-september, paganini bofh, and solani so the problem doesn't seem to be on their end.

I installed XanaNews 1.21 awhile back and using it I get all messages including those that are not downloaded by TB.

I just upgraded to TB 102.11.2 when it came out and I am still having the same problem.

Any help appreciated.

Hello everyone, I just installed Thunderbird Beta (114.0b6 - 64 bit) out of curiosity.

When I import RSS Feed, all icons representing folders are gone unlike on Thunderbird Stable version.

Although Feed Subscription pop up window still show icon for each feed folder.

Is this normal on Thunderbird Beta?
