Cannot Send Emails From Thunderbird
Cannot send emails from Thunderbird using my Verizon email account. I need a new password. In January 2022 AOL gave me a generated password that has worked until about one month ago but does not work, now. They won't help now. How do I fix this so even though I receive emails, I cannot send emails? Thank you.

I suggest you go back to your AOL account page, click the security tab and generate an APP password.
Thank you for your help. I have done that and I was able to send emails. Will this new generated password continue to work or will it have to be changed every so often?
The new password is supposed to be permanent, at least until AOL makes any future changes. Anyway, I'm pleased you were able to recover your account.
