Reinstall profiles after window 10 full upgrade
Hello,
Using Thunderbird for decades. Using Mozbackup to backup profiles. Just reinstall Windows 10 Pro N. Did a mozbackup for the 78.5 Thunderbird and Firefox. In my Locals Folder was Archives. These held messages forever. Somehow when I restored I had some sort of failure. I no longer see the Sub folder for 2020 in the Archives. It has all apparently up to 2019 but nothing stored this year..... HELP. Tried reinstalling thunderbird many times and doing the mozbackup restore to different backups and they don't seem to restore the Archive/2020 folder.

Mozbackup has not been maintained since 2012. I would not advise you using it. The author says: MozBackup is not being developed anymore. There are known issues and there is no time on my side to fix all issues and develop new features. Use MozBackup only on your risk. Thanks for understanding.

It might be worth checking to see if you have the files but thunderbird cannot see them as necessary mbox files are missing.
Access the profile: You say 'In my Locals Folder' so I'm presuming you mean 'Local Folders' mail account. Click on 'Mail' folder click on 'Local Folders' mail account folder You should see a folder called 'Archives.sbd' because you have subfolders in 'Archives'. click on 'Archives.sbd' folder to see contents Make sure the 'View' tab is set for 'Details' and 'File name extensions' and 'Hidden items' checkboxes are selected. Make sure the 'Size' column is visible. Extend window to show all files. Post an image showing the contents of the 'Archives.sbd' folder If you cannot get all files shown in one go, then post additional images.
I am looking for the mbox file which has same name as the missing folder. I am also looking for a .sbd folder with same name as missing folder eg: 2020.sbd
