Trying again. I open Firefox on my Windows 10 laptop. At the same time, I get the Firefox (GETTING STARTED PAGE) and five of my bookmarks that I'm not trying to open. What is happening and how do I stop it! This happened since the update to 76.

You can check that those pages aren't set as multiple homepages.
You can check the homepage setting.
- Options/Preferences -> Home: Home

Firefox supports multiple homepages separated by '|' (pipe) symbols.

Not related to your problem, but I noticed in your system details, under
"Installed Plug-ins" you wrote :
"I don't know what these are "
When you go to the 3-bar menu <big>→</big> Add-ons, then on the left side click
on "Plugins" and you will see what those are.
