A website works in safe mode, but not in normal mode (extensions and hw acceleration disabled)

I try to do some work with a web interface and experience problems (form not loaded, and others, but this is not relevant). If I start firefox in safe mode, it works. If I disable all extensions, disable hardware acceleration and start it in normal mode, it does not work.

What can I do to find the cause/component that makes it not working (and, in case, disable it)?

Thank you, Andrea

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open the Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> A)

On the left side of the page, select Appearance. Then select Default.

Now restart Firefox.

As I pointed out, I disabled hardware acceleration and didn't work.

Thank you for your reply. I don't have any "Appearence" on the left, but assumed that what you were referring to is labeled "Themes" here. If my guess was correct, going next the odd thing is that none of my three themes ("Default", "Dark", "Bright", never used any of them) was active. Yes, I mean all of three had the "activate" button active... Anyway, I activated the Default one and it worked, so this solved my problem.

Thank you very much! Andrea

You inadvertently marked your own post as Chosen Solution .....

You can rectify it by clicking on the 'Undo' button to the right and then mark FredMcD's post (not your post in which you quote FredMcD) as Chosen Solution.

Sorry to put you through all this trouble .....

Nothing to apologize for - a very understandable (and common) mistake  !

Thank you so much for rectifying it  !
