Could you be a bit more specific, please, like: Where is it your username is not being recognized   ? Whom is it your expecting an email from pertaining to your password   ?

Hi edover1954, We have no idea what web site or what other procedure or function you are trying to access. It could be something to do with your webmail or your banking for instance. Please not you are posting on a public forum so be careful NOT do disclose any confidential information.

If I make the assumption that your problem relates to Mozilla and Firefox is this anything to do with your Firefox account that you would normally be able to access by typing in to your Firefox address bar about:accounts
