Removed all my accounts yet again and reinstalled. Beside few problems sending here and there account seemed to work. I was expecting more help here but unfortunately it did not come. I think the update corrupted my accounts so reinstalling each again seems to resolve the issue hope it can help others here too. Thanks for whoever tried to assist.

Manage to send some emails now.... but not all... I am sure it is a bug with te new update that will be resolved. But meantime it is a lottery what I reply and go... So thank you to whoever listen here and making changes. It was a struggle to find a way to notify someone and also hope that there will be an easier way to raise an issue in future. Glade I don't need to delete all my accounts and reinstall or is it too early?! Thanks Will report here when system send emails OK.

Still can't send and the replies I managed also stopped. I wish there was someone to talk to direct to discuss the problem. The support system seems to be too complicated?????

Can not send emails. Get an Alert message that the email relaying was denied It says I have to check my inbox first, which I have done many times trying to get an email to be sent.

See image for actual alert. Happens for any email addressee. Checked with ISP to make sure account settings were correct and they are.

I have never had this problem until this version of TB = 38.2.0 What has changed?

I still have the email not sending problem, have gotten no help from Mozilla about their bug infested email client. I am using version 38.4 which should be the most current and still problems.

OS = Ubuntu 14.04.4LTS Thunderbird = 38.4 Firefox = 43.0

Jlh68 try starting your own thread with details of your problem instead of hijacking someone else's solved thread. If you do not get help there then you can complain. Or purchase MS Outlook if you want a staffed help desk.
