I have installed Firefox 36.0.4 on a laptop I use at work. All other devices using 36.0.4 also. Nothing will sync. All other computers and devices sync properly. All devices have the updated sync installed. Clean install of Firefox on the work laptop. Firefox has never been installed prior. All devices have been disconnected and reconnected one at a time. Laptop still won't sync.

thank you, so there might be a policy in place in your work environment to prohibit you from using sync and firefox accounts. you may want to consult with your it department about that...

hello irocrob, when you type about:sync-log into the address bar of the laptop and open the latest one or two error logs, can you copy their contents and put them into http://pastebin.mozilla.org/ or a similar service and paste a link here on the forum? this might be helpful in assessing the problem. thank you!

What's the value of the pref `services.sync.tokenServerURI` in about:config?

services.sync.tokenServerURI

Status - locked Type - string Value - empty

I have noticed that the value on the working computers is - https://token.services.mozilla.com/1.0/sync/1.5
