My inbox has been corrupted and 32 emails from Jan 6 to 20 contents wiped
Just that! a few have HTML content. most are blank. One has an image from a deleted spam email that won't delete

Right click the folder and select Properties. Then Repair Folder. That might salvage any messages still fixable.
