I open firefox and after a long time the screen is blank and it says new tab on the top, no website will open
I have tried uninstalling & installing firefox and it still won't let me open any websites. I have used firefox for a long time and it has worked great. I did recently install Office 360, but firefox worked after it was installed. Any ideas?

Which version of Firefox are you using ?
Firefox has implemented a new, faster way of loading webpages in Version 33. This new feature is called OMTC. If you are experiencing black or blank webpages when you start Firefox or on some sites, you should update Firefox. Mozilla has released an updated version that fixes the problem.
If you are in Firefox and can see your menus, you can update Firefox from the Help menu:
- Click the menu button
, click help 
and select About Firefox.
If you can't use the Firefox menus, you can go to www.mozilla.org using Internet Explorer or another browser to download and install the latest version.
