Blocking a .de domain

I'm so sick of getting up to 40 emails a day from the .de domain, a spam/scam out of Germany, on every one of my emails. I have set up filters for "ending in" delete but … (kàsi)

I'm so sick of getting up to 40 emails a day from the .de domain, a spam/scam out of Germany, on every one of my emails. I have set up filters for "ending in" delete but that doesn't work on incoming emails. HELP!!

I have an old Thunderbird account that is no longer active but I have a huge archive of emails that I would like to be able to access. Thunderbird takes up a huge amount of space on my nearly full C drive because of this. Is it possible for me to save the archive on my D (data) drive and just have the program on my C drive. And how can I back them up. Thanks!

Images not showing in sent email

When I send an image the image appears in my email, naturally. When I get a response to that email, the image is not included. It shows up as follows. This has changed a… (kàsi)

When I send an image the image appears in my email, naturally. When I get a response to that email, the image is not included. It shows up as follows.

This has changed and I don't know why. Is there a setting or a way to have them included in the return email. Thanks.

Thunderbird not saving all Recent Destinations

I recently updated Thunderbird to Nebula v139.0 and now my "Recent Destinations" list is not saving all my folders in its list after moving / copying emails to the destination folder I selected. It seems that the "Recent Destinations" list is only saving (or maybe just displaying) folders with names beginning with "A" - "N". If I move an email to a folder with its name beginning with "O" - "Z", the email will be moved to the appropriate / selected folder, but the folder (destination) name will NOT appear in the "Recent Destinations" list.

I've recently had reason to try to clean up my email, particularly getting rid of defunct email accounts. However I wanted to save the emails themselves, so was going to move them to an archive under Local Folders.

Unfortunately, I'm finding that a lot of emails from these old accounts (as well as some emails in folders of my still active accounts) cannot be read in Thunderbird. The header information shows up in the view panel (from address, subject, date, etc), but the contents of the email do not display (the preview window is entirely blank), and attempting to copy the email fails.

I've dug into the profile directory and found the underlying Inbox file that stores the email, and all the emails are there. They just can't seem to be read or manipulated by Thunderbird for some reason. Also, if I try to View Source on the email, I just get a blank window.

In most cases, the unreadable emails are from 2012 or earlier, although not all such old emails are unreadable. Some are HTML, some are plain text, and other emails of both HTML and text variety work fine. I haven't found any obvious correlation in the problem.

I'm on 128.11 esr. The accounts used POP, and the emails are stored locally.

Any help on this issue is appreciated.

Hello - I have 2 Thunderbird accounts supported by gmail. A recent issue has occurred that I cannot seem to resolve. Both accounts are active and accessible on my Android cell phone. Only 1 account is now accessible on my laptop. I have tried all available solutions to get Google to "recognize" this second account but no success. My last email received via laptop Thunderbird was May 1. Any suggestions? Thanks very much, Jim

Just today, not able to send or receive emails (google mail). Trying to send gives an error: 'Send failed. Peer's certificate... invalid signature'. Receiving is silent - just no downloading. Google's web client works ok.

Not aware of anything changing. Thunderbird is up to date (128.11.0esr (64-bit)). Windows 11.

I've not changed any settings ( still SSL/ OAuth2)

It shows Outbox and unified inbox, which I have disabled as I oly want to see each individual inbox. On the phones home screen, the Thunderbird icon has a number three on it. How do I get to see the three emails?

How do I import my calendar from Outlook?

They always do appear but there are often delays, sometimes of a few minutes, sometimes of several hours, and sometimes of many hours. At the end of the delay they always do appear, with the time at which they were sent indicated, even though that time is earlier than the time at which they appear in my inbox. I have sometimes sent e-mails to myself, as tests -- and these are also often delayed for five or ten minutes. I am not aware of any actions that I take that precipitates either the start or the end of the delay.

I recently started using Thunderbird to back up my emails, but I accidentally forgot to remove the Delete emails after transfer checkmark and all the emails on the original server (Yahoo Mail) were deleted.

I contacted Yahoo, but it seems impossible here, so is there any way to revert it on the Thunderbird side?

In the meantime, we are working on restoring the necessary emails from Thunderbird by forwarding them again.

I went through the steps to export my settings from the desktop version using the QR code. New messages are coming in, but I can't see any of the older messages on the desktop version. Is there a setting or way I can see these on the app on my phone?

I'm using Thunderbird version 128.11.0esr on my Windows 11 desktop computer.

I have many email accounts in Thunderbird and Thunderbird automatically forwards email from some of the accounts.

Occasionally I will see an error message: "Send Message Error. Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Error sending message for delivery... Please check the message and try again."

Can I trace this error back to determine which email account is causing the error?
