I'm try to synch my PC with my android phone (Verizon HTC One) by entering the codes but the fields are already populated with codes and won't let me delete

The codes you see on your Android device need to be entered on your already connected device, like your PC: on that device, go to Tools > Options > Sync and select "pair a device" then enter the codes provided on the new device to be added.

I have this problem also. Both phone and computer are populating the code blanks. I cannot delete code from either device and I cannot add coded to either device. One device or other should show blank code box but this doesn't happen.
