If I cannot use Firefox for whatever reason how can I transfer my data to Safari which I will use in its place? It appears that my iMac is too old to update for Firefox and the only way I can continue to use Firefox is to purchase a new computer. I do not intend to do that since my iMac works just fine for my needs.

You have an Intel Mac, so if you could update to OS X 10.5 then you can continue to use Firefox.

You can find the Firefox 3.6.28 release in all languages for Mac here:
