When I left click on the firefox icon. or right click and select open. absolutrely nothjing happens. I am going to select everytime firefox opens--BUT it doesn't open--nothing happens EVERY time I try to open Firefox.

Can you start Firefox in Safe Mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode

Does firefox.exe or plugin-container.exe appear in the task manager when you try and open Firefox?
