In 3.6.14 the fwd & back arrows stay grayed out so I have to reload the home page of the site

I've just upgraded to 3.6.14. Since then on many sites I visit, including my home page 'BT Yahoo', The Fwd & Back arrows on the toolbar stay gray when I go to another part of the site. I then have to reload the the site & start again instead of just going back to the page I want. When this happens the 'Drop down arrow' also does not work. I never had this problem on 3.6.13. I'm using Windows 7 64bit
