Windows Live Login Page Compromised
I'm on my PC to post this with IE because I can't do so using firefox at all. I'll just assume that either NoScript or Adblock is killing this form. However the problem is about my Mac:
On Mac OSX 10.6.4, with Firefox 3.6.8, NoScript 2.0.2.3, AdBlockPlus 1.2.2 -
Whenever I drag my password into the password box at the Windows live login page, which I can access using this URL: http://skydrive.live.com/ which then expands to some rather long winded url that I won't post,
I find that I am automatically redirected to this page here, away from the live login page:
http://www.wap.com/launchpad/wap/*Password*
Where the remainder of my password is pasted at the end of the resulting URL.
I don't appear to see this behavior when I use Safari 5.0.1

It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in safe mode (don't forget to select Disable all add-ons when you start safe mode). If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. See this article for information about troubleshooting extensions and themes and this one for plugins.
If you need support for one of your add-ons, you'll have to contact its author.
If the problem does not disappear when all add-ons are disabled, please tell me, so we can work from there. Please have no fear of following my instructions to the line, as all can be easily undone.
I disabled all the add-ons and plugins and I still have this problem after restarting FireFox.
Note that my password began with Wap !!! I'm changing that again, so that it doesn't. I expect that will fix this apparent problem.
Actually what happens is with any password, the first 3 characters are used to construct a URL that is switched to when a password is drag dropped into the password text box at WinLive ... using FireFox !!
