Update crashed program and it only loads Xfinity now...Will deleteing it and re-downloading it lose all my contacts and information? d

Downloaded Thunderbird update and program now opens to Xfinity but no updated emails... Can I remove and re-install it without losing all my previous emails and contacts? Or is there any better fix?

Uninstall then reinstall should not affect your Profile, which is the folder that contains all your accounts, messages, passwords, preferences, etc. But before you do, you should make a backup copy of your profile. You don't mention your operating system, but in Windows, the default location is

C:\Users\(your account name)\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird
