bookmarks toolbar not showing items in linux firefox 139.0.1
bookmarks toolbar not showing items in linux firefox 139.0.1 - it broke in this update. All it shows is text reading: "For Quick Access, place yada yada..." I tried adding it back, it's broken.

Hi Daniel, this can indicate that the "Bookmarks Toolbar Items" control is not positioned at the left end of the Bookmarks Toolbar. If you check in Customize mode, is it there or can you move it there? See: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.
If "Bookmarks Toolbar Items" is there but not populating, hmm, Firefox might not be able to read the Places database file. In this situation, I generally recommend restarting the system to release file locks before taking any drastic action.

that worked, you solved it! I did have to restart firefox for it to take effect.
