Hello!

The bookmarks column tree, to the left, has disappeared when I start Firefox. I must press ctrl+B to get it back and do so every time I restarted Windows.

This problem occurred recently. Previously it was visible every time I started Firefox.

Do you know how I can fix it or is it a small bug…

(I use Firefox with Swedish language)

Regards Carl

Hi Carl,

Thanks for your message! It sounds like Firefox isn't remembering your bookmarks sidebar setting after restart. This can sometimes happen after an update.

One workaround is to install an extension like "Sidebar Auto Show" or use a startup script, but unfortunately, Firefox doesn't natively support auto-opening the bookmarks sidebar on launch.

Hopefully, Mozilla adds this feature again soon—or it might be a small bug, as you guessed.

Best regards
