On my gmail account I am not getting sent emails from thunderbird in the sent folder I have checked its an IMAP account I have un checked 'place a copy' I have ensured 'show' folder is enabled in gmail web browser when I go to 'subscribe' there are no folders in list, even after 'refresh'

Sorted I think I had to change Thunderbird server setting to TLS/SSL from Start TLS seems to be working ( for now )

I suggest checking your GMAIL settings online to see which folders are set to be viewable from email apps.

Sorted I think I had to change Thunderbird server setting to TLS/SSL from Start TLS seems to be working ( for now )
