every Ffox page auto-scrolls down by approx one eighth of a page at 2 second intervals. Even when my SpacePilot and my second keyboard are disconneccted from the laptop. Doesn't affect other Windows aps.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

I have tested all solution described but still have the scroll navigation on any web page stuck. It is not continuous and smooth. It stops every 2 cm inside web pages. I am using latest Firefox version 64.0.2 (64-bit) on Windows 10 PRO
