Using Thunderbird 52.9.1 (64-bit) on Linux I uncheck "use paragraph format instead of body text" Every time I restart Thunderbird this has reverted to being checked. ie - the setting does not stick on Thunderbird restarts. Any idea on why or how to remedy this?

I'm intrigued by this as you are not the first person to mention this.

Did you recently upgrade to 52.9.1 (64-bit) and then notice this suddenly occuring or was it an issue in a previous version?

Where did you download TB from?

Did it occur after an auto update?

What language are you using ?

Could you try uninstalling and download a fresh version from here: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/52.9.1/linux-x86_64/

Choose prefered language eg: en-GB = English British Then download the 'thunderbird-52.9.1.tar.bz2' file.

Please report back on results and other info, just in case this turns out to be a bug.
