My Malware detection system has found a PUP-MindSpark.Generic in my Firefox/profiles---Is this a valid Mozilla code, if so--what does it do and how important is it--ie can I remove it & how do I remove MindSpark from my Firefox program. My Malware has quarantined it, so my browser seems to be working without it--Thank You--Michael Pastore aka SubGuyM

Where in the Profile?

Stuff like trojans, viruses and such found in Cache are harmless.

Firefox cache file was infected with a virus

It may be a older article but it is still relevant.

Also check for updates in your scanner as it is not uncommon for false positives to happen, especially after a recent Firefox update.

Or your Windows could be infected https://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-pup-optional-mindspark/
