I have windows 10 and I wish to reformat both my C & D Drive before I reload Windows 10 How can I "dump" / copy all my Thunderbird settings, folders, etc and then reload them. I know how to export all my address books. Thank you J ohn Gilbert

Open File Explorer and navigate to C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming and copy the Thunderbird folder to a safe location, such as a flash drive. (If your profile folder is large, you might want to Compact folders from TB before doing this to save space.)

After you reformat and reinstall Windows, install TB but don't run it after the installation. Copy the Thunderbird folder to the ... Roaming folder and then launch TB.
